Trail condition

Easy hiking trail, partly asphalt, partly gravel.

The requirements for an accessible hiking trail are met here. The trail is barrier-free, but it is classified as a difficult (black) route. This means that a strong assistive device, such as a Swiss-Trac, is required. Without a towing device, the trail can only be completed with athletic pushing assistance.

Description

The accessible circular trail around the Sintwag Plateau is designed as a peaceful and easily accessible panoramic route. The walk begins at the car park near the Waldrastlift. After crossing the road, the path continues in an anticlockwise direction and leads around the Sintwag Plateau.

Along the route, rest areas invite visitors to pause and enjoy a relaxing nature experience. From the scenic trail, there are impressive views of the Hahnenkamm mountain range, the Ehrenberg Castle ruins, Schlosskopf, and the surrounding alpine landscape. The combination of natural scenery, good accessibility, and gentle terrain makes the Sintwag Plateau an attractive destination for a relaxed outdoor excursion.
