Description

The trail leads eastward from the mini-golf course to Kalvarienberg (a small hill with three crosses). It crosses a grassy slope and passes through the forest to a forest road. This road turns left and reaches a fork after about 5 minutes. We now follow a long, gently ascending forest ridge before the Harauer Spitze rises steeply, requiring a bit of effort. From its summit, a charming ridge—equipped with wooden steps—descends toward the Harausattel. Here, the trail branches off to the right toward the Haraualm and follows the forest road for about half an hour from this point. At the Josefskapellen junction, we turn right. A forest trail leads us into the gorge-like Josefstal, past the chapels to the Hotel Panorama (closed). From the hotel, we return along the forest road to Kalvarienberg and on to Walchsee.
