Circular hike for the experienced hiker
At the Karlift car park is the beginning of the forest path towards Rauchälpele. After about 30 minutes walk, cross the brook Kärlesbach. The Rietzlersteig branches off to the left towards Thanellerkar. At a strikingly marked rock in the Thanellerkar - called "Brotzeitstein" - a narrow path branches off to the right towards Jöchle. A descent from Jöchle leads through forested terrain to Rauchälpele. The descent from the Alm leads to the starting point Karlift car park.
Diverse landscapes and beautiful viewpoints reward the arduous hike.
