Idyllic circular hike from Höfen via Holz and Wängle to Hirschbachalm, with stunning panoramic views across the valley.
The hike starts at the Hirschbachalm in Höfen. It leads past the holiday village and the valley station of the "Bergwelt Hahnenkamm", over the Leimbach to Holz. At the foot of the mountain slope, walk north along the panorama path. After some time on this beautiful trail, which offers great views over the entire valley basin, a small road leads downhill into the center of the small Village of Wängle. Over a few village streets and further on meadow paths it goes towards Höfen. After about 1.5 hours of walking you arrive the Hirschbachalm again, where delicious traditional dishes and homemade cakes and snacks with ingredients from regional origin await you.
Take regional bus line 1 to the "Wängle Holz" stop, line 110 to the "Höfen Reuttener Seilbahn" or "Höfen Tourismusbüro" stops, or line 120 to the "Höfen Tourismusbüro" stop. There
are a few more stops along the route that allows alternative entry- or exit
