Arrival by public transport
Take bus to the stop 'Unterberghornbahn'.

Forest Road, Hiking Trail
The hike starts at the valley station of the Kössen cable cars. Walk past Intersport Planer towards the youth sports hotel. This is where the hiking trail begins; follow it to the Scheibenwaldhütte (mountain hut with catering).
From there, continue to the Bärenhütte (mountain hut with catering and paragliding launch site) and on to the Gipfelhaus (mountain hut with catering). From here, it is about another 30 minutes along a well-marked mountain trail to the summit of Unterberghorn.
For the descent, you can either return via the same route or take the cable car down.
