Description

Day 1: Hohenzollernhaus The starting point of the two-day hiking tour is Labaunalm (1,977 m), which can be easily reached with the hiking taxi. First you follow the Hiking trail no. 14 to the Saderer Joch (2,397 m). From there the route goes down Trail no. 26 down to Saderer Bach. Further above the tree line, on a hunters path (not marked) and through the Saderer forest to the Sattelalpe (1,700 m). Through the beautiful Nauderer Tschey, Trail no. 20 leads to the Schäferhütte (approx. 2,181 m). The popular hiking destination, the Hohenzollernhaus at 2,123 m, can be reached via the horizontal “Bergl Steig”. After an overnight stay and refreshing fare, the second stage follows the next day. Day 2: Pfunds The descent from the hut is next to the imposing waterfall from Radurschlbach, past the sculpture park to Radurschlalm. The route continues towards Pfunds, along a section of the Central Alps long-distance hiking trail 02 to St. Ulrich’s chapel and then down into the village. A post bus goes back to Nauders from Pfunds.
