Mountain hikes Lermoos - middle station-Wolfratshauser hut-Gartnerwand- summit hut "Gipfelhaus Grubigstein"

Beautiful and demanding hike over the Gartnerwand. 

Description

Take the Grubig I cable car to the middle station. From there uphill to the Wolfratshauser Hut and further downhill to the Gartnertal. Follow the Gartnertal uphill to the Sommerbergjöchle. This is where the challenging part begins, over the secured path to the Gartnerwand. From here, surefootedness and a head for heights are required, and climbing equipment is also recommended. From the Gartnerwand, the highest point of the mountain tour, the route follows the ridge over the Grubigstein to the Gipfelhaus Grubigstein. With the cable car Grubig I + II you can return to the valley.
