What are the distances to the planets in our solar system? Do they always remain the same size? Do they change periodically or even permanently? How long does it take to fly to the edge of our solar system?
Answers to these and many more questions can be found on the planetary path "Reutte under the stars". Take an hour and find out what else there is to discover beyond the earth. Collect new knowledge about stars, planets, moons and asteroids at each station. Learn where there is water, where mining could be profitable and where else in our solar system there could be life.
During this interactive walk we would like to show you the distances between the planets. At normal walking speed, you can complete the planetary walk in about half an hour. On the scale of the planetary path of 1:2.550.000.000 you would move with 8 times the speed of light. The individual planets on the path are represented with models.
