Equipment

Good equipment is essential for your hike. The following items should definitely be in your rucksack: - Food and drink - Functional clothing for rain, wind and cold - A change of clothes - Sun protection - First aid kit - Mobile phone with a full battery (Euro emergency number 112) - Hiking map or GPS - Hiking poles Nevertheless, the following applies: light luggage is also easier to carry, so you should not weigh down your rucksack with unnecessary ballast. In addition, your hiking equipment should of course also be adapted to your particular hiking tour.

Description

Your hike begins at the car park behind Sport Fredy.
Cross the road and walk up the slope to the district of Rauth. The forest road begins at the edge of the forest and at the next fork, continue right and the actual Jägersteig trail begins.
This leads you through shady forest, sunny clearings and, for a change, often down to the mountain streams and back up again. Pass the Schretterhütte (hunting huts) and then continue to the game feeding station at the cable car.
Some dangerous sections are secured with wire ropes. Only for experienced hikers!
Passing a sunny clearing, you then reach the Namlos forest and follow the markings down to the suspension bridge. After the suspension bridge, a beautiful hiking trail leads you up to the forest road to Fallerschein. Hike comfortably to the stream valley over the bridge and take the last ascent up to the alpine village.
