Description

This circular hike starts at the municipal office in Tösens. From there, the trail gently ascends to the hamlet of Eggele. A wide forest path then leads above Margreit toward Pfunds, offering beautiful views of the surrounding landscape along the way. After the curve near Margreit, the trail turns right and follows the Greiterstraße toward the village. Passing through the Dorf district and crossing the Inn bridge with the distinctive “Turaloch” tower, you reach the center of Pfunds. For the return, follow the Via Claudia Augusta, which initially descends gently along a scenic forest path toward Tschupbach. After a short stretch along the road, you reach the small settlement. From there, the route continues to Tösens, crossing the impressive historic Roman bridge just before reaching the destination. This varied loop combines peaceful forest trails, scenic viewpoints, and cultural highlights, making it an ideal and enjoyable hike between Tösens and Pfunds.
