Whether you just want to explore the picturesque forest clearings or take a dip in the Grüner See—Nauders offers an excellent hike for both types of forest bathing.
An easy forest hike with assistance on the ascent, passing by two picturesque forest clearings with lakes. Thanks to the shady forest, it’s an ideal, peaceful loop for warm days. If you visit in July, you’ll see the water lilies blooming in the Schwarzen See Nature Reserve.
After the ascent with the Mutzkopf chairlift, follow the signposted path to the Black Lake - here you can choose whether to take the hiking trail or the nature trail. From there, continue to the Green Lake, which also offers the opportunity to fish in summer (please note: only with a valid fishing licence!). From there, take the forest path back to the valley station of the Mutzkopf lift.
