From the information office in Walchsee, follow the main road toward Kössen until you reach the Seehotel Brunner. Here, turn right, then left after the wooden bridge, until you reach the next fork in the road. Turn left here, then immediately right again. The forest road follows the Weißenbach stream into the Habersau Valley to the Feldalm. From the Feldalm alpine cheese dairy (open in summer) across the Hochalm (open in summer). From here, take Trail No. 88 (partly steep—secured with wire ropes) to the Gwirchtalm and back to Walchsee.
Take the bus to the stop Walchsee Dorf.
