Zitatenweg
The Zitatenweg is a well-maintained forest path that begins with a gentle ascent at the edge of Samnaun-Compatsch. Walking along quotes, which are newly themed each year, you head toward the Zander Valley. This route offers a lovely view of neighboring Spiss and the Muttakopf. At the end of the Zitatenweg, near the Malfragbach, you cross the national border. After about a kilometer, you cross the Zandersbach and briefly leave Austrian territory again. Following the Zandersbach, you reach the Spissermühle bus stop, where an hourly PostBus returns to Samnaun.
