Asphalt, forest road, meadow path
From the village center, turn left and follow the trail as it climbs gently; at the hilltop (Pension Sonnleit), keep to the right, crossing the Kegelboden to Schlechterhöhe. From there, continue left, heading north, until the forest ends or you cross the treeless area “Gumprecht” on the left. Passing the Burger and Roaner farms, you’ll rejoin the Leitweg trail, which leads you to the center of Kössen.
