The Ascher Hütte, which lies in the Samnaun Mountains above the Paznaun Valley, is known as a family-friendly hut. It  is surrounded by the meadows and pastures of the Versingalm. Despite a few rocks here and there, it is easily accessible for both adults and children. Kids will enjoy playing in and around the streams near the huts. There is even a small lake. The food is hearty and traditional. Highlights include the large terrace with fabulous views of the Verwall Mountains and the iconic Hoher Riffler. Families can spend several nights at the hut and book half-board accommodation. There are plenty of walks and hikes nearby for all ages and fitness levels.
