closed
Difficulty ratings: medium
Route length: 18.7 km
Duration: 4:00 h

As a mountaineering village, the Gschnitztal is naturally also a place of peace and relaxation in winter. Here you can walk in and out of the entire valley - it's good that there are refreshment stops in between.

We recommend because:

  • Trail through the quiet and natural Gschnitztal valley
  • leads through several mountaineering villages
  • Refreshments at the end of the valley

Description

The Gschnitzalloipe starts in the area of the Trins T-bar lift via an access route or directly at the Trins football pitch. The trail leads past the villages of Trins and Gschnitz to a group of houses on the ascent to the Laponesalm at the end of the valley. There are large panorama signs at the trailheads in Trins and Gschnitz showing the course of the trail.
In addition, the Gschnitztal cross-country skiing area has been awarded the cross-country skiing seal of quality by the province of Tyrol.
