Day 2 - Kaunergrat circuit 7-day tour
Difficult, long, energy-sapping stage on black mountain paths. Sure-footedness, alpine knowledge and a very good level of fitness for 9 hours of pure walking time are required.
Day 1 - Nature park house at the Gachenblick to the Verpeilhütte
Walking time:
NP Haus - Aifner Alm 1.5 hours
Aifner Alm - Falkaunsalm 2.5 hours
Falkaunsalm - Gallruttalm 1.0 hours
Gallruttalm - Verpeilhütte 4.0 hours
Total walking time: 9 hours
Overnight stay: Verpeilhütte
Places of interest: Along the Dr Angerer Höhenweg trail with magnificent views of the striking mountain silhouette of the Kleiner and Großer Dristkogel and the Gsallkopf. Wild and romantic Verpeilhütte.
Take the bus till the bus stop Naturparkhaus Kaunergrat.
