Description

Route: Lamsenjoch hut - Lamsenjoch - Binsalm-Niederleger - Alm village Eng - Hohljoch - Spielissjoch - Falken hut

Route description:
From the Lamsenjochhütte, walk back on the trail a few meters along the ascent route, but keep on the Einsattelung in the direction of "Binsalm" or "Falkenhütte". In sloping terrain, the path gently descends below the Lamsenspitze to the Westliches Lamsenjoch (1,940 meters). On the other side of the yoke, the descent begins in the direction of "Binsalpe" or "Eng". Soon the path turns into a cart track, which first leads through open terrain and past the Binsalm high jib. In some sections there are shortcuts. Soon you will also reach the Binsalm-Niederleger.

From here you hike on a wide road and for some time almost parallel to a deeply cut valley down to the alpine village of the Eng (1,270 meters) with the many rustic huts under ancient maple trees. Behind the last alpine buildings, the wide footpath to the Falkenhütte begins on the right. It rises gently and leads through mountain meadows and mixed forest up to the Hohljoch (1,794 meters). From the Joch, the trail descends on a good path below the Laliderer walls to just under 1,700 meters. Thereby the Laliderer Reisen are crossed. On the last stretch of the stage, the path gently climbs up to the Spielissjoch, the last meters to the stately Falkenhütte (1,848 meters) you walk on a road.
