Description

The first “Geh-Zeiten” trail - “Sonnenzeit” - takes you through time from a second to a year.
The starting point is the largest walk-in sundial in the Alps, which you can already see from the Elfer lifts mountain station. With an inside diameter of eight metres, this wooden timepiece not only tells the time but it also provides some impressive views over the Stubai Valley. The trail continues along the “Panoramaweg” (panorama trail), where hikers pass by various different stations devoted to the topic of time: from a second right through to a year.
