The hike starts at Alpengasthaus Breitlahner, 1.257 m and takes you via Klausenalm, 1.301 m in several switchbacks to Grawandhütte, 1.636 m, where you can enjoy a break with fantastic panoramic views. From here, you can also set off to other destinations, such as the Alpenrosenhütte, 1.878 m or the famous Berliner Hütte, 2.042 m.
This route takes you from the Alpengasthaus Breitlahner, 1257 m via the Klausenalm, 1301 m along the Forest Trail No. 523, which winds its way up the mountain in several switchbacks and ultimately leads to the Grawandhütte. Upon reaching the Grawandhütte, you can take a well-deserved break and enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of the surrounding mountains.
By the way, the Grawandhütte, 1.636 m is an ideal starting point for further hikes in the area, such as to the Alpenrosenhütte, 1.878 m, Waxeggalm, 1.880 m, and the renowned Berliner Hütte, 2.042 m.
