Mountain hikes Ischgl-Tour 02: Erlebniswanderweg Ischgl-Idalp

Ischgl / Samnaun Group
Difficulty ratings: easy
Route length: 7.9 km
Duration: 2:00 h

We generally tend to steer clear of fawn holes and bear traps, but on the Idalp Adventure Trail, it’s worth mustering up the courage to venture there. From the two suspension bridges of the same name, 70 meters above the gorge, you’ll catch some truly special views into the distance and down below.

Tour character

An easy themed hike in the Paznaun Mountains that combines the enjoyment of nature with kid-friendly adventure. On this well-marked route through three alpine vegetation zones, the trail leads through the impressive Kitzloch Gorge and across two spectacular suspension bridges that span the Fimbabach River high above the valley. Along the way, interactive stations and installations—such as the Walk of Lyrics—add variety to the hike. The trail can be hiked in either direction, so you can choose to descend or ascend by cable car.
