The breathtaking view and the summit experience at the 2.512 m high Venet (Glanderspitze), as well as the culinary delights that you can enjoy in one of the rustic mountain pastures make this circular walk an unforgettable experience.
From the car park at the Kaunergrat Nature Park House, it takes around 2 hours to hike to the Gogles Alm (2,017 m) and from there a further 2 hours up to the Glanderspitze (2,512 m). After a short rest and a unique panoramic view of the imposing mountain world, follow the signs to the Wannejoch (2,495 m), from where you descend and return to the Gogles Alm after approx. 1:45 hours. From there you hike back down to the Nature Park House (approx. 1:45 hours).
TIP for those with stamina: From the Wannejöchl you continue to the Kreuzjoch (2,432 m) and Imsterbergjoch (2,202 m) and reach the Imsterberger Venetalm (1,980 m) after approx. 3.5 km (approx. 1.5 hours). The return route leads approx. 4 km (approx. 2:45 hours) over the slopes of the Kaunergrat Nature Park, on a well-marked path, past the Larcher Alm (1,814 m) and Galflun Alm (1,961 m) back to the Gogles Alm (2,017 m).
