Description:
The sixth day on the border walker takes us across the border for the last time. First, however, an impressive waterfall awaits right at the beginning of the stage. Then it continues through magnificent forest and extensive meadows to the Zipfelsalpe, where the snack tastes twice as good on the scenic terrace. The summit slopes of our first destination, the Iseler, can already be seen from here. Continuing through flower-rich meadows, we steadily gain height until, at the summit ridge, we can see the towns of Ober- and Unterjoch for the first time. We follow the entire ridge partly exposed, partly steep, but mostly on beautiful mountain paths to the Kühgundkopf. On the descent towards Schattwald, the last cable ropes await us before we can decide at the Wannenjochbahn whether to end our border hike with a cozy cable car ride into the valley or still complete the last few hundred meters on foot.Directions:
