Description

Start from Steinach, where you walk towards Bergbahnen Bergeralm (below the motorway bridge) and take the mountain railway up to the middle station (50% reduction with guest card). Then hike from the middle station along forest trail #42 through the forest to the Gerichtsherrnalm. Alternatively, you could also ascend directly from the valley station via trail #45 to the Gerichtsherralm (1,663m). The rustic alp invites you to take a short rest. Afterwards, continue either via forest trail #43 in the forest or with more ascent via trail #78/44 above the forest line to the Trunahütte (1,722m). Descent from the Trunahütte via trail #125 (forest trail or path) to Trins. Arriving at the Trins Liftstüberl, hike along the Gschnitzbach stream on trail #49 out of the valley to Steinach.

    Take the S-Bahn from Innsbruck to Steinach am Brenner and then walk to the Bergeralm valley station across the village.

    There are three parking spaces at the Talstaion, all of which are chargeable.
