Description

The hike starts at the tourist information office in Prutz. From there, follow the road towards Faggen until you reach the Faggen Chapel. After the chapel, turn left and follow the signs towards Kauns. After about ten minutes of walking uphill, a signpost leads you to the right onto a beautiful gravel path.

Passing through a peaceful forest, the trail continues uphill across stunning, species-rich and sun-drenched hay meadows before reaching the village of Kauns on a gentle incline. In Kauns, cross the main road and follow the signs to the “Fischteich”. Below the picturesque traditional orchards, a steeper path leads down to the Fischerranch, where you can take a break and enjoy some local culinary specialties.

The return route forms a circular hike, leading downhill through a beautiful forest and partly across wooden walkways back to Faggen and finally to Prutz, where the tour ends.
