The classic: From the parking lot at GH Feuerstein (subject to charge) along the rather steep trail nr. 60 almost parallel to the material cable car. Countless serpentines lead first through a mountain pine area and then up through stony, rocky terrain.
Once you arrive at the Innsbrucker Hütte, you almost feel like you are in the Dolomites: Surrounded by striking rock faces and peaks, one has a beautiful view of the mountain world of the Stubaier Alps, the Karwendel, the Tuxer Alps and the Dolomites. The hut stands on the Pinnisjoch, the transition between the Gschnitz valley and the Stubai valley.
