Description

The route starts directly in Landeck and quickly heads towards Trams, leaving the urban surroundings behind. Within minutes, you enter the forest and immerse yourself in nature.

The climb towards Galugg is never overly steep, making it ideal for trail runners looking to find a comfortable uphill rhythm. The terrain alternates between forest roads and narrower woodland trails, creating a varied and enjoyable running experience that is perfect for both easy outings and faster training sessions.

As you gain elevation, occasional clearings reveal beautiful views of Landeck, the Inn Valley, and the surrounding mountains of the Ferienregion TirolWest. One of the route’s special features is the contrast between peaceful forest sections and unexpected panoramic viewpoints.

The area around Galugg forms the scenic highlight of the run. From here, runners can enjoy impressive views over the valley and surrounding mountain landscape without having to venture into high-alpine terrain.

The return journey offers a mix of runnable trails and flowing downhill sections. The terrain is generally non-technical, allowing runners to pick up the pace and enjoy the descent. This makes the route suitable for both beginners looking to explore trail running and experienced runners seeking a quick training loop.

The final kilometres lead comfortably back to Landeck, rounding off a varied and rewarding trail running experience right on the doorstep of the town.
