Description

For all those who want to do a multi-day high-altitude hike from hut to hut for the first time, this "light" high-altitude hike with three daily stages is the ideal introduction. The starting and end point is the mountaineering village of St. Jodok. With a total length of approx. 35 km, 1,960 metres of ascent and 1,670 metres of descent, this tour can be classified as moderately difficult (despite black mountain paths) and is also well suited for long-distance hiking beginners. After finishing the loop in Toldern at the Gasthaus Olpererblick, you can use public bus 4144 to get to St. Jodok (there is a hiking bus at weekends).

We recommend travelling to St. Jodok by public transport (S-Bahn), which is included in the guest card from Innsbruck.
