Description

  • The Ritter Waldauf circuit in Kolsass is a varied family hike that combines nature, history and family fun. The trail leads along idyllic forest paths, over an adventurous suspension bridge and past the Rettenberg ruins. Crossing the Weerbach stream on the suspension bridge is guaranteed to give you a little thrill!

    The trail is named after Florian Waldauf, the famous knight and loyal servant of Emperor Maximilian I, whose traces are still visible in the Karwendel Silver Region today. An ideal trail for a relaxing excursion that perfectly combines culture, nature and exercise.
