Description

With the gondola of the Bergeralmbahn you can comfortably get up to more than 1.500 metres of altitude (alternatively you can take the hiking trail here). From there you continue on the marked path no. 41 in about 1.5 hours to the summit with a fantastic panoramic view. Once you have made the ascent and arrived at the cross, you follow an unmarked but clearly visible path along the ridge almost level to the second cross on the Eggerberg. From the Eggerberg, the marked trail nr. 45 now leads past the third peak "s'Kreuzl", and after a fork in the trail, one then follows trail nr. 44 to the Vallmaritzalm. The descent then follows the farm track (No. 40) back to the middle station of the Bergeralm and by gondola down to the valley.
