Description

On trail no. 82 starting at the Gasthof Lamm in St. Jodok, walk along the road through the Kirchsteig settlement until you reach the railway subway, then with little ascent along the forest path through meadows and forest. Follow the Vals hiking trail no. 82 and later no. 85 to the end of the Vals valley to the Touristenrast snack station. From the middle of the valley you are in the "Natura 2000" nature reserve.
