Discover nature at Lake Achensee: The 3.4km Achensee Nature Adventure Path offers exciting activity stations, quizzes and interesting facts about local plants and animals.
The "Achensee Natur Erlebnispfad" in the Nature Park Karwendel follows the Obere Seebergsteig and offers a 3.4-kilometre journey through the local flora and fauna, featuring eight educational stations. Guided by forest ranger Linda and using an interactive app activated by scanning the QR code at the start of the trail, visitors can discover the region's biodiversity. Make sure that location access is enabled on your phone. The app includes learning modules and quizzes specifically designed to engage children.
The Alpengasthaus Pletzachalm is a great place to stop for refreshments at the end of the Achensee Nature Adventure Path. The return route follows either the same path or the paved toll road back to the car park (about 35 minutes, 2.7km). The Achensee Nature Adventure Path is especially suitable for families with children who would like to discover nature together.
Take the regional bus (lines 8332 or 390) to Pertisau and get off at the "Pertisau Karwendeltäler" stop.
