It's not really that cramped here - after all, there is room for over 2,000 gnarled maple trees in the Eng! And the best way to admire them from all angles is on a hike up to the Binsalm.
Easy and undemanding hike from the Engalm to the Binsalm, which can be completed without any great difficulty. The tour starts with the large Ahornboden at one of the most beautiful natural monuments in Tyrol, which offers an impressive play of colors against the bare Karwendel walls, especially in autumn. The Binslalm can be reached via an easy but steep path, which is lined with waterfalls and magnificent views of the Laliderer Wände and Birkkarspitze.
From Eng, there are three paths leading directly to the Binsalm. Once you reach the top, you can enjoy some hearty home-style cooking on the sunny viewing terrace.
