From Landeck via the Fernpass to Reutte, Füssen and on to the royal palaces Neuschwanstein , the retreat of Ludwig II and Hohenschwangau , his summer residence. The path continues to Wies, where a visit to the pilgrimage church is worthwhile, and Linderhof Palace , the "royal mansion" of Ludwig II, to Reutte and back over the Fernpass back to Landeck.
