23 kilometres around Tirol’s largest lake: flat from Pertisau to Achenkirch, then a more demanding trail via Gaisalm back.
The Achensee Run is rightly called „Austria’s most scenic panoramic run”. The 23km route takes runners around Tirol’s largest lake. It features a longer section from Pertisau to Achenkirch over 14.5 kilometres on flat gravel and asphalt, and a shorter section over 8.5 kilometres from Achenkirch via the Gaisalm to Pertisau, climbing over 150 metres of elevation on a narrow, demanding trail.
