Hike on forest roads to the 1,758m Christlumkopf, the highest point in the Christlum ski area, with views of Lake Achensee and the Karwendel mountains.
From the Christlum lifts car park, follow the forest road to the signposted turn-off for the Moosenalm (not serviced, 1,530 metres). Continue for around 200 metres, then turn left towards the Christlumkopf (1,758 metres). The descent can be made via the Gföllalm (1,381 metres) back to the starting point. Only the descent to the Gföllalm follows a hiking trail; the rest of the route is on forest roads.
Take the regional bus (lines 4080 or 390) to Achenkirch to the ski area and get off at the "Achenkirch Christlumlifte" stop.
