Description

On this easy walk in the Windau valley, experience nature and Alpine landscapes close-up!  This circular route takes us firstly along the Windauer Ache to the Jägerhäusl.  After a short uphill stretch, we reach the cheese dairy “Straubing”, situated on a magnificent plateau.  Enjoy a snack from the self-produced cheese and smoked bacon selection, not forgetting the freshly baked bread!  The walk takes us on a circular route through pastures and forests back to our starting point – the Lendwirt.
Drop-in possibilities: Lendwirt, Jägerhäusl, Cheese Dairy Straubing.  Alternatively, the tour can begin in Westendorf’s village centre.  The distance then averages approx. 20 KM.
