This varied loop hike combines impressive views from the Benni-Raich Bridge with idyllic trails through meadows, forests, and along the Inn Gorge.
The hike begins at the Bungy Stüberl II parking lot. From there, the Bungy Stüberl is just a few minutes’ walk away. Crossing the 137.7-meter-long and 94-meter-high Benni-Raich Bridge offers an impressive view of the Inn Gorge and the surrounding mountains.
The route then leads uphill via a wooden staircase and continues along a dirt path through meadows and fields to the first houses in the Wald/Niederried district.
From there, a moderately steep descent along the Klammsteig trail leads down to the Inn Gorge and the Inn Valley Bike Path. The route follows this path to where the Pitze River flows into the Inn. After the bridge, a steep trail leads up to the Arzl sports field. From there, the path runs along the road toward the wine café and finally back to the starting point.
This tour can be ideally combined with the circular hike to the Earth Pyramids.
The “Arzl Pitzenebene” bus stop is about a 5-minute walk from the starting point, and the “Arzl Gemeindeamt” bus stop is about a 15-minute walk away.
Parking is available at the Bungy Stüberl I or II parking lot.
