Village tour - the inner soul of Erpfendorf!

Description

You start at the information point in Erpfendorf. From here you hike past the Hotel Berghof on the right in the direction of Kirchdorf. The hike takes you along traditional Unterinntal farms with old stone water troughs and gate stones. The scenic idyll is complemented by a modern building with glass construction and shows the modern spirit of the time. After a few meters the hike leads to the left across a pasture. Several benches along the path invite you to linger and enjoy. Shortly after a small pond, hike the piece up to the Schmiedkreuz - THE Erpfendorf lookout point. From up there you get an overview of the village center of Erpfendorf and its surroundings. Well recognizable is the local company "Steinbacher Dämmstoffe", an important employer of the region. The company with its products is known for its sustainable use of energy. The way back to the village center leads you past the Kneipp facility. Kneipp basin and barefoot path invigorate body, mind and soul. Along the village stream you will pass the Clemens Holzmeister church (built in 1957) and the Schmiedbauern farm and return to the starting point of the tour.
