Sturdy boots (ankle-high hiking boots), weather appropriate clothing, enough to eat and drink. Telescopic hiking poles are recommended.

Description

Starting at the Gern Alm, a forest road climbs to the Plumssattel, where a path branches off to the right towards the Satteljoch and continues to the Kompar (2,011m). On the way back, a visit to the rustic Plumsjochhütte is highly recommended. Alternatively, the Kompar can be reached from the Hagelhütten car park at the Großer Ahornboden via the Hasentalalm.

    Take the regionl bus (line 8332 or 390) to Pertisau and get off at the "Pertisau Karwendeltäler" stop.
