A short, easy walk on flat terrain – 40 minutes return across the fields of Eben to St. Notburga Church.
Opposite the hotel Huber Hochland, follow the path between the fields of Eben. The dirt road leads past several farms and ends right in front of the St. Notburga Church. The return is via the same route.
Take the regional bus (line 8332 or 4080) to Hotel Huber Hochland and get off at the stop of the same name: "Eben a. A. Huber-Hochland".
The valley station of the Rofan cable car is situated just off the B181 Achensee main road, above the centre of Maurach. From the car park at the Rofan Seilbahn, head left towards Eben am Achensee. Walk past the JET petrol station and take the next turn downhill into the village. At the crossroads, turn left twice, follow the road and cross the Achenseebahn tracks. After a few metres, Hotel Huber Hochland comes into view. Just after that, turn right onto the path towards Eben. Walking time from the Rofan Seilbahn: approx. 10 minutes.
