Description

From the Atoll Achensee, walk along Lake Achensee in the direction of Buchau. The route leads along the eastern lakeshore via Achensee Camping Schwarzenau and the pier Achenseehof to the pier Scholastika in Achenkirch. From here, walk in the direction of the Alpen Caravan Park Achensee and turn left. Follow the signposts to the Gaisalm mountain hut past the Seewinkel. Follow the narrow path (Mariensteig) as it climbs steadily alongside Lake Achensee before it descends over steep steps to the Gaisalm mountain hut. The route leads over scree and narrow rocky trails to Pertisau. From here, continue along the lake promenade. Walk past the Seehotel St. Hubertus to Seespitz and back to the Atoll Achensee in Maurach.
