Description

The car-free lakeside path is perfect for families, relaxation seekers, and outdoor enthusiasts alike. The Wusel-Seeweg is an exciting adventure trail for children, featuring a host of puzzles and interactive stations along the route from the starting point in Maurach to Camping Schwarzenau. Creative stops like the “Stranded Lake Fleet”, “Overgrown Shore”, “Talented Surfers”, and “Fresh Fish” share interesting facts about Lake Achensee and the region in a playful way. Because the path is almost entirely flat, it is exceptionally family-friendly and also easy to navigate with pushchairs or strollers.
You can pick up your Wusel postcards and find trail information at both ends of the route: at Camping Schwarzenau and at the start of the lakeside path in Maurach (right by the "Stranded Lake Fleet" station). Once you have punched your card at all the stations, bring it to the Welcome-CENTER Achensee in Maurach to collect a special surprise.

Please note that from November onwards, the trail is no longer maintained, and the punching stations for the postcard puzzle are removed. Additionally, from around mid-December, the section between Hechenberg and the Scholastika shipping pier will be closed, except for a short section near Achenseehof.
