Most of the remote huts can only be reached on foot. Depending on the hut, the route there can be challenging and require surefootedness and a good level of fitness. The hikes often last several hours and lead through impressive landscapes. A good level of fitness can be an advantage or is sometimes a prerequisite. We recommend doing a few fitness exercises before the hiking season to start the season well prepared.
