Winter Hike Kühtai - Zirmbachalm
The hike starts from outside Kühtai Tourist Information Office. The trail leads through the village in the direction of Innsbruck. A groomed trail from the Hoch Alter car park heads for the nursery lift and on to the “March” at the beginning of the first avalanche gallery. From there, the route continues slightly downhill on the other side of the road towards the Zirmbachalm. It is marked with magenta signposts. You can either walk back along the same route or take bus number 4166 to Kühtai (the bus stop is right next to the Zirmbachalm).
