Description

Learn about the region’s wildlife by exploring the alpine animals circular walk with its adventure stations and dwarf story on the Zwölferkopf. From the top station of the Karwendel cable car, follow the signposts to the Bärenbadalm (signpost no. 4). Walk past the mountain hut through the forest and past ski lift pillars. Follow the path as it climbs back to the Alpengasthaus Karwendel and the top station of the Karwendel cable car.
The family-friendly path is classified as easy to moderately difficult.

Getting here

  • Arrival by public transport

    Take the regional bus (line 8332 or 390) to the Karwendel cable car in Pertisau. Get off at the stop: Pertisau Karwendellift

  • Parking

    There are two large paid car parks at the cable car station. The parking fee is refunded for cable car passengers and holders of the Achensee Holiday Card.
