Mittagskogel summit tour starting from the top station gletsherexpress
The hike begins at the upper station of the Gletscherexpress. From there, a well-maintained trail leads to the right through rocky and boulder-strewn terrain up to the 3,159-meter-high Mittagskogel. At the summit, an impressive panoramic view opens up over the valley and the surrounding glaciers and mountains.
The descent follows the same route back to the Gletscherexpress mountain station.
