Description

Starting from the Achenseeschifffahrt car park in Pertisau, a forest path leads up to the Hochried viewpoint. From there, the route continues along the southern flank of the Seebergspitze, passing through dense mountain pine fields. After around four hours, you will reach the summit of the Seebergspitze (2,085m), which offers fantastic panoramic views of Lake Achensee, the Karwendel mountains, and the opposite Rofan range.
The tour then follows a narrow ridge for about an hour to the Seekarspitze (2,053m), where another round of impressive views awaits.
The descent takes roughly 3 hours, leading past the Seekaralm down to Achenkirch. Total walking time to Achenkirch: ca. 8 hours.
From there, you can easily return to Pertisau by boat or on the regional bus. For those wishing to extend the hike, the trail continues along the lakeshore via the Gaisalm back to Pertisau, adding an extra 3 hours to the route.
