Easy circular walk on a quiet forest road through the wooded Tristenau Valley – located in Pertisau yet pleasantly secluded.
This loop trail starts at the toll booth at the entrance to the Karwendel valleys in Pertisau. Turn left and walk in the direction of the Falzturnalm mountain hut. Turn left after ca. 100 metres and follow the trail through the Tristenautal valley. At the end of the trail, you will be back in Pertisau close to the valley station of theKarwendel cable car.
Take the regional bus (line 8332 or 390) to Pertisau and get off at the "Pertisau Karwendeltäler" stop.
Take the B181 Achensee main road to Maurach and turn off towards Pertisau. At the entrance to Pertisau, take the first road on the left uphill towards the Karwendel cable car. Pass the cable car and continue straight ahead until you reach the large car park at the entrance to the Karwendel valleys (Nature Park Karwendel).
