Easy snowshoe hike from Wimm (Brandenberg) in the beautiful and extensive alpine pasture area of the Eilalm and Labeggalm.
With the right track choice, barely avalanche-prone. Also pay attention to the information in the avalanche report!
Snowshoes, poles, winter-proof clothing.
The snowshoe hike starts at Erbhof-Wimm near Aschau in Brandenberg and leads through an extensive area to the Eilalm and Labeggalm
The first destination of the snowshoe hike is the Eilalm: From Erbhof-Wimm, follow the fenced drive southwest (signpost Eilalm-Labeggalm) through a forest to the wide alpine meadows northwest of Pramakopf. Passing a large farm building and along the drive, the route leads up to the Eil Alm (1390 m).
After a short break, the next destination is Labeggalm: At Eilalm, keep left below a wayside cross and diagonally over alpine meadows in a southerly direction to a saddle. Here, turn right on the broad ridge, shortening the drive once, and trudge up to Anderl's alpine hut. Stay on the broad, almost treeless ridge and continue further uphill to a large wayside cross (1595 m) with a seating group on a hill above the alpine pasture area of Labeggalm. After a well-deserved break, the descent follows down the wide alpine meadows to Labeggalm (1545 m).
Return route: From Labeggalm, follow the drive back to Anderl's alpine hut and from there back along the ascent route to Erbhof-Wimm.
Fee-based parking lot after the farm Wimm (currently € 3.00 - as of 2021)
